Aloha, thanks for visiting, I hope you enjoy my work and let me know what you think or if you would like to order prints or originals.  Many of these pieces have been sold, however, I am always painting and will be updating my photos in the next two weeks.

 I have lived in Hawaii since 1967 except for most of the eighties when we lived on the Mainland. 

I love the islands, the colors are unbelievable, and the light is almost electrifying.  The combination just does something to me and I have to paint.  I am always learning new things when painting so I never want to stop.   I  love to paint all kinds of scenes, portraits, and murals.   I also have a couple  of different painting styles; realism and a painterly style.  I use usually realism when doing portraits and a more painterly style when doing scenic painting.  Sometimes I use a palette knife and/or my fingers. I  especially love painting en plein aire;  it's so wonderful to be outside enjoying the weather while painting. 

I also love  doing sculpture, especially  people, although  I haven't done anything in quite awhile.  My goal is to do some sculptures before this year is out.
A new product that I will be coming out with also this year are Roll-Up Murals.  Murals on canvas that can be rolled up and taken with you.  A new edgy decorating trend is to have a painting on an unframed canvas and then tacking it on the wall.  Therefore, some of my paintings will be on loose canvas in a size of about 16x20 or larger.  Coming soon!
