BA Hons Fine Art, De Montfort University 2000

Awards:  The Bradgate Bakeries (Samworth Brothers) Annual Purchase Prize 2000

I teach adults painting and printmaking and show work at galleries nationally and locally.

I work in oils, watercolours, pastels, mixed media, charcoal, etchings, monotypes, linoprints - virtually any medium!

I work plein air and then develop ideas in the studio into larger canvasses or printmaking.

I'm interested in the changing light and colour in the landscape through the seasons.  The warm dusty light of summer, the clear bright light of Spring, the glowing colours of autumn and the subtle muted colours of winter and a particular sense of place and time.

I spent a great deal of my childhood living by the sea in Gibraltar, Cornwall, Scotland and Malta and, though I now live 100 miles from the coast, try to get there as often as I can.
